Dog Has Swollen Elbow My Dog Has An Infection In His Elbow And It Is Slowly Healing - 9 Weeks! On Anti-bs But Why Is It So Slow?

My dog has an infection in his elbow and it is slowly healing - 9 weeks! On anti-bs but why is it so slow? - dog has swollen elbow

He had surgery to remove the pus and the whole leg was set, but will last all of 2 to 3 days from my vet. Yesterday, the vet tried to minimize the association in order to free the leg, but has grown to its original size (very large). The dog exercise reduced (almost none). I also have anti-imflams too. Please help, I am desperate. Thank you very much.

That sounds like an infection so serious it could be why it took so long. may also depend on whether the dog against this or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. if they take medication to delay the healing. Ask your veterinarian

and if you do not remove your vet already, the dressing, if the leg is swollen

I agree with the receptionist in her opinion. Another proposal to help the healing process and she has done to apply their antibiotic Betadine solution (such as iodine) or potassium permanganate. The reason I ask is that I'm volunteering a dog sanctuary (medicine), and sometimes with open wounds that we deal with it and heal very well. We can not afford to have each dog to the vet every time they fight and get hurt.

You leave the window open too many drivers.
